Payment
Payment in full is required one week prior your tour. We accept Master Card, Visa, Cash and Checks.
Final Head Counts
Charters can seat up to 36 people.
If you have any last minute additional passengers you must notify group sales at info@maineducks.com as soon as possible to see if available seating is available. If you show up with additional people without calling prior we can not guarantee seat availability. No refunds for group members paid and not present at time of tour.
Please note that boarding the DUCK requires 9 standard height steps, with handrails. Passengers must be able to physically access the DUCK via steps.
Arrival Time
Arrive at your assigned pick up spot 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time. It is very important to plan ahead for prior restroom trips, parking and unexpected delays. Should your group arrive late we will be forced to abbreviate or cancel your tour with no refund so that we may meet our remaining tour obligations.

Restrooms
Maine Duck Tours’ vessel is not equipped with restrooms. Restrooms are available at the Casco Bay Lines Ferry Terminal and Fore Street Parking Garages (several blocks away from loading), or at nearby restaurants for patrons. Please allocate enough time for a restroom break before your tour.
Handicap Accessibility
All Maine Duck Vessels are not wheelchair accessible. However, if the person can physically access our ladder, our Customer Service Ambassador will store a walker, wheelchair, or other assistive device for the duration of the tour.
Inclement Weather
Maine Duck Tours may operate rain or shine. Please dress for the days weather. The vessel has a roof and is open air in favorable weather with side panel flaps for cooler or rainy weather. Tours are only cancelled in the event of high winds/seas or fog. If Maine Duck Tours cancels a tour prior to starting the tour a refund will be granted. Refunds will not be granted if your group/charter cancels for any reason after deposit.
Dress
Our vehicle/vessel is not heated, however is quite warm with side curtains down. Groups should dress appropriately for the day’s weather. In Maine, the weather can change very quickly, we suggest layering.
When You Arrive
Group Drop Off
Please drop group off at Long Wharf on Commercial St. This is a 15 minute loading/unloading zone. A Maine Duck Tours ambassador will greet you at The Blue Lobster, 177 Commercial St, Portland, ME.
If your group has made arrangements to be picked up by Maine Duck Tours at an alternate location please make arrangements with that facility for drop off instructions.

Boarding will begin 15 minutes prior to your tour and will leave promptly at your scheduled tour time. If your group only partially fills the duck and you have not chartered the duck, the other seats will be available for the public. However, we will reserve group seating in order for you all to sit together.
Maine Duck Tours reserves the right to terminate the tour of any group for unruly behavior. No refunds will be granted in such instances.
